soo...

Okay, so I have started this new store on etsy, I never realized how hard it would be to attempt to sell things on my etsy, but I am going to try and work my butt off to sell 1 thing! I just don't think there is a big market for sock creatures and cards.

Anyways here are a few of the things in my shop.

I was just thinking I should do more art journal pages...maybe if the basement isn't to cold I will go and do that!

Have a wonderful day!

Hello

It's been a few days since I have posted anything so I thought I would share a couple atcs I have done recently.

The last one is actually one of my chicks. Her name is Sunny. Post more later this week.

Art Journal

So on Wednsday I decided that keeping an art journal would be fun. And yes it is! I decided that I would use an old book. I found one on young peoples heritage in the orient. It had the right kind of binding (threaded) so I decided it would work just fine for my first journal. I started it yesterday morning and got the cover, the inside of the cover, one page, and then a part of a page done! My biggest problem is I don't have very many stamps! But I got a bunch at a garage sale yesterday! A couple of packs for $4 each! And a few backround stamps for $2 each! I hope to find many more! On wednsday I went to archivers and I got my first pad of distress ink and a couple pieces of scrapbook paper! So as you may be able to tell I am very exited about my latest purchases! Now I would like to show you my new Journal!

This is the cover, printed this image, and decopaged all around. The front cover is the only part of the outside finished. On the side with the music notes that piece there is riboon. I did this all with mod podge and put 2 or 3 coats on the top.

This is the inside page. I used acrylics, magazine cutouts for the stop and my name, and a piece of brick patterened paper. In the center is pocket. It was an old library book, so I have a small place to store things if I want.

Page 2 is a steampunk kind of theme, but not completly I really like the way it turned out, though I am thinking of dissressing the edge of the image.

For this page I glued 4 pieces of paper to the backround, 3 pieces are actually in dutch, and the 4th is from some other book, then I took some brown watercolor and spread that out, the took acrylic and a fan brush and spread that out. The fern is one of the stamps I got at the garage sale, and the image is from a scrapbook page.

The stamped writing says 'Vintage'.

Introduction

I have created a few blogs in the past, none of them ever sticking, but I really had nothing to post. I created this blog so I could watch other artists, and post my own works. I love to do everything from atcs, to my new found love art journals. I paint, collage, stamp, markers, and colored pencils. I love vintage looking things, and of course authentic vintage. My main stores for my awsome craft things are blick, micheals, joannes, and my new love archivers. I am addicted to scrapbooking paper, and am attempting to start a small scrapbook for my photography.
Well thanks for looking!
